Snap Shots from Fashion Show

It happened. My senior collection. On April 23 and 24, six beautiful and talented models sashayed down the runway in vibrantly dyed chiffons and patterned silks. After a semester of planning, sketching, fitting, sewing, seam ripping and sewing again, I produced a collection that I am very proud of. I drew inspiration from the whimsical dresses of the 1960’s and the strength and power of the Medieval knights. Henry Darger also heavily influenced me with his magical Vivian girls. This collection evokes a soft feminine playfulness with understated power. I created spats (shoes accessories) for my models using fake leather (animal friendliness!). I feel that this collection communicates my style and aesthetic as a designer and also shows my excitement for life. Enjoy.

  1. That dude in the Phillies hat looks kinda dope.

Psych. I mean, yeah, dope, but also, there's more. The Purple Dress looks wild. And it all looks like clothes you wore over the summer. Congratulations for consistency! and graduating?
    Congratulations!
