Iconic Status ( image of the moment)

I thought that every now and then I would put up an image that caused some thought. With this beautifully pixelated image of former President George W. Bush, I wanted to pose the question of Bush's icon status in art. Love him or hate him, I see him having as much staying power as a silk screened Elvis or Mao. This was an amazing picture featured in the New York Times article on his White House exit press conference. No apologizies were made, but there was the well known perplexed look that Bush has mastered in his eight years of Presidency. I hope that the economy goes up, violence goes down and that John Stango makes a beautiful oil on canvas of Dubya.
