For senior collection I drew inspiration from the free spirit of the 1960's, the strength of medevil armor and the magical illustrations of Henry Darger. I wanted to create light chiffon dresses that are very feminine and girlie, but also have a hidden strength. Through studying classical armor I sketched out ideas of unique pleating, and layers of silk chiffon and charmeuse. Like the child crusaders my girls are young warriors on a mythical adventure.
